Updating photo on passport
When I passed my test last January, I asked if I could change the photo then but for some reason I couldn't.So yeah, does anyone know how I would go about changing my photo to a more "prettyful" one? Originals will be returned once the High Commission of India & its respective Consulates are satisfied with the documents provided.The current Passport having valid Visa or Residence Permit is required to be enclosed with self-attested photocopies of pages containing detailed passport particulars, Visa page and the page containing observation (s), if any.Applicants residing in the consular jurisdiction of Consulate General of India, Birmingham are advised to submit their applications at offices in Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford and Newcastle.In case the latest Passport is additional booklet (s) issued to the original Passport, the additional booklet (s) plus the original Passport must be furnished If the applicant is married and his/her spouse name is not entered in the passport, he/she should submit a self-attested photocopy of marriage certificate and self-attested photocopies of Passport of the applicant’s spouse (original Passport & marriage certificate to be submitted at the time of application) for adding spouse name in the new passport.
Has anyone updated their child's passport photo? I spoke to the Australian Passport Info Service and they said they can replace it for free if we like but there are no legal requirements to do so - even if the child looks vastly different. I didn't know you could change a passport photo . I'm in the category of "why make trouble for yourself" - if your child has a valid passport, leave it as is.

Applicants residing in the consular jurisdiction of Consulate General of India, Edinburgh are advised to submit their applications in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
The immediate family member will be required to produce this authority letter and his/her original passport/identity paper/document establishing the proof of his/her relationship with the applicant while submitting the application on behalf of the applicant.
